President, Ryan Edgell (on the right) recently presented Technical Services Manager, Phil Inman, with an award recognizing Phil’s ten years of service and dedication to the Company. Phil has been instrumental in Edge IT’s success and we congratulate him on reaching this notable milestone.
Zombie Apocalypse 5k
Edge IT was a proud supporter of the Zombie Apocalypse 5k. In order to survive the zombie apocalypse, participants had to run and dodge zombies along a course. Proceeds from the event benefit FSA Counseling, a group that provides mental health services to the Terre Haute region.

NICCL Chooses Edge IT
Edge Information Technologies is pleased to announce that we were recently selected as the technology provider for the Northern Indiana Computer Consortium for Libraries (NICCL). The primary mission of NICCL is to join together with other libraries to explore new emerging technologies and to seek out best technology practices, obtain technology training, see vendor demonstrations of new technology or services, and negotiate pricing of technology hardware/software purchases and technology support services all for the benefit of the communities that they serve. Edge IT specializes in providing comprehensive solutions for businesses, public safety organizations, non-profits, municipalities and government.

Edge IT Builds Ramps With SAWs
From SAWs Facebook Page: "Our 20th project was completed on this perfect weather day as we serve Jimmy and his wife by building a safe 30’ access ramp for Jimmy can no longer do stairs from a recent auto accident earlier this year that caused a break in both his back and neck.
We had a new team joining us today from a firm by the name of Edge IT, that just so happens to be the firm that is working on the new SAWs Web Site development project and wanted to engage in what we do in the field for a day of service. Josh, Adam, and Ryan jumped right in and from what we could tell, enjoyed the experience."

TCMG Merges With Edge IT
The Computer Management Group recently merged with Edge Information Technologies. Both of our information technology companies each offer our own set of unique business solutions and by coming together, we have expanded our services, our expertise, and our employee base to better serve current customers as well as new ones.
Another 911 Dispatch Center
Edge IT recently added a 10th 911 County Dispatch to the current client base. This adds to the existing government client list of public safety IT, which has been an Edge specialization since 2008.
Clock Tower Donation
Edge Information Technologies recently donated $5,000 to the Montgomery County Clocktower Fund. - “We are so thankful to Ryan at Edge IT for his generous donation,” stated Sandy Lofland-Brown, committee member. “We have been fortunate to have so much support. Dr. Kirtley would be honored to know that so many people wanted to help.”

Outstanding Technology Alumni Honors
“My degrees have opened many doors in my career, and in running my IT consulting firm, both as evidence for my level and breadth of knowledge and for exercising a deeper understanding of IT,” Edgell says. “My role is ever-changing, challenging and rewarding.”
His company has been involved in implementing the statewide Computer-Aided Dispatch and Records Management Systems (CAD/RMS) and text-to-911 projects and helps many public-safety and nonprofit agencies with their IT needs.

Edge Information Technologies has had a presence in Montgomery County for more than 11 years, as of Friday June 26, 2015, the company has a new, physical presence in Crawfordsville. Edge IT’s office is located at 502 E. Market Street.
